For 18 years, the WebAwards has recognized the best websites across industries while setting the standard of excellence for website development. The 2018 winners of the WebAwards competition have been announced and we’re excited to see three of our clients win the Nonprofit Standard of Excellence awards.
A big congratulations to our clients and staff members who worked hard to design and develop these award-winning websites! We’re honored to have the opportunity to support your missions.
The Center for Climate Integrity is a project of the Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development and directs Pay Up Climate Polluters (payupclimatepolluters.org). The Center for Climate Integrity's work is primarily done in cities where the financial impacts of climate change can be measured and there is an opportunity to bring legal action. The purpose of the website is to introduce the idea of “climate liability” into the mainstream conversation.
Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) has a loyal, extremely interested audience: parents of children with food allergies. But they realized that they weren’t giving visitors the web experience they needed to navigate their daily food allergy challenges. FARE embarked on a process of user journey transformation, which led to a complete redesign of the website (foodallergy.org).
Since 1920, the League of Women Voters (LWV) has been helping voters play a critical role in democracy. LWV, a nearly 100-year-old organization, shifted their visual design to attract new and younger audiences, especially younger female activists. The redesigned website (lwv.org) prominently features bright colors as well as a blend of new and historical photos.
